George Lewis was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, and '30s who at club level played rugby union (RU) for Pontypool RFC, playing at Centre, i.e. number 12 or 13, and at representative level played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for St. Helens, playing at Fullback, Centre, Stand-off/Five-eighth, Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 1, 3 or 4, 6, or 7.[1]
